How is the score worked out?
Each of the last 20 posts the account wrote itself gets a 0–100 score for how strongly it follows the patterns AI writing overuses: template hooks, “it’s not X, it’s Y” turns, stock closers, lists of three, no specifics. The score is the average.
Can it prove someone used ChatGPT?
No, and neither can any other detector. It shows which posts read that way and why, so you can disagree with it.
I wrote every post myself and it still says slop. Why?
The templates were human first, and people who read a lot of AI posts start writing like them. The highlighted phrases show exactly what reads that way.
Is it really free?
Yes. No sign-up, no card. One new check per visitor a day; an account anyone checked in the last 24 hours opens instantly and doesn’t count.
Do you keep the posts?
The read is kept for 7 days so a shared link still opens, then deleted. We never post anything to the account.
